Blessed
The misshapen form of a childlike figure lies upon an altar, as demonic entities observe in judgement from above on their towers. Mirroring those claiming that every life is sacred, until they are born; whereupon they are discarded and refused any grace from those who previously claimed them as a blessing for whom sacrifices need to be made.

Permanence
A fear of the loss of self from motherhood is depicted here as a figure holds their swollen stomach, whilst a holy child clasps onto their head. Parenthood is a permanent change; one's own life becomes secondary, even your own body chemistry working against you as it focuses on another.

Opprobrium
Study of the personification of regretful shame, this work explores the out-of-body experience created by the extreme anxiety of a perceived humiliation. The key character cries out silently from their confines of the present time in a vein attempt to stop the events of the past.

Obloquy
An internal struggle: anxiety’s personification surrounds the work as distorted humanoid faces. The subject attempts to hide from their provokers. Literally backed into a corner and guarded by enraged screaming, the figure is trapped. The subject of the piece cowers away from its aggressors into the darkness.

Incoming Call
A capture in time of the moment of burnout. A look at the experience of working in a corporate office - feeling trapped and constantly on edge – there is constant anxiety that you are about to be chastised publicly. The character of the piece groans in exhaustion as they see the incoming call and submit to whatever comes next.

Monday Teams Meeting
The light of the webcam illuminates a tower of demons as they scream in unison. Perhaps they were once individuals but are now moulded into one being of many heads. The artificial hierarchies created by corporations' meld once-individuals into following one path. The sliver of power creates a funnel of those desperate to fit the mould to keep climbing.
